The Mother-Daughter Conversation That Shapes a Lifetime.
Four afternoons. Four trusted voices. One quiet, powerful foundation for the daughter who has just stepped into womanhood, and the mother walking alongside her.
2026
This is the conversation she'll remember.
Your daughter has started her cycle. Something shifts in her body, in her moods, in the way she looks at you. You want to say the right things. You want to give her what you wish you had been given. But how??
You want her to understand her body as good, knowable, and worthy of care. You want her to feed herself well without fear or confusion. You want her to know what a healthy cycle looks like, and what it doesn't. You want her to walk into her future equipped rather than anxious.
And quietly, on the other side of the kitchen counter, your own body is changing too. What feels like chaos in her is often mirrored in you. A second hormonal transition, unfolding at the same table.
Over four afternoons this May, you and your daughters are invited into a room with four women who have spent their careers making this conversation easier, clearer, and more beautiful.

Body Literacy for Beginners: Learn to Read Your Body
Do you remember when you first learned to read? The thrill of realizing that letters build into words, words into sentences, sentences into an entire story? In the same way you learned to read, you can learn to read your body. Join Katie Vidmar to learn how to understand the signs a girl's body gives her every day, and the story those signs begin to tell about her hormones and her overall health.
Her Puberty, Your Perimenopause: Two Transitions, One Foundation
Your daughter's body is ramping up. Yours may be winding down. The hormonal shifts of puberty and perimenopause mirror each other more than most women realize, and the foundations that support her set you up, too. In this talk we will help you understand the changes that are at play and leave with a clear action plan of how to support your health and hormones. Includes a practical introduction to cycle syncing for both of you.
Feeding Her Body: Practical Nourishment for Women
Real-kitchen tools, resources, and recipes for meals that feed growing bodies well, without stress, without perfectionism, and without a culinary degree.
A Healthy Relationship with Food
The interior work that protects your daughter from diet culture. How she thinks about food, her body, and nourishment, and the language that shapes those beliefs at home.
Four women you can trust with this conversation.
Each one hand-chosen for a specific piece of the picture, and for the way they hold space for mothers and daughters.
Rita Johnson
Rita is passionate about helping women balance their hormones and heal their guts. After her own struggle with secondary infertility, rooted in years of poor gut health and a Candida infection, she went on her own healing journey. Now more energized than she ever thought possible, she loves helping other women live more fully alive. When Rita isn't helping clients experience the same deep level of healing, she is homeschooling her 6 (super cool) kiddos, 4 of which are girls.
Katie E. Vidmar
Katie is a Body Literacy and Fertility Awareness Educator and a passionate advocate for bringing holistic women's health to adolescents, young adults, and underserved populations. As founder of The Body Literacy Project, she works with leaders in policy and education to ensure that every boy and girl in America is empowered to read and understand their bodies, armed with the knowledge they need to protect their healthspan, their lifespan, and their dreams for a family in the future. Through her training program Elevate, Katie has equipped over a thousand nurses to bring a cycle-informed approach to women's healthcare. She writes and speaks across the country, and lives in Bismarck, ND with her husband and seven children.
Katie Kimball
Katie Kimball of Raising Healthy Families helps change kids' relationship to food, both through work in the kitchen and helping parents of picky eaters. She's a former teacher, two-time TEDx speaker, writer, mom of 4 kids and creator of the Kids Cook Real Food Course, Teens Cook Real Food Course, #LifeSkillsNow virtual summer camps, and blogs at Kitchen Stewardship. Her mission is to connect families around healthy food, teach every child to cook, and instill those all-important life skills.
Mary Voogt
Mary Voogt (NTP, HTMA-P, Level 1 NDM Consultant) is a Nutritional Therapy Practitioner, kid's health expert, devoted wife, homeschooling mother of four, and the owner and creator of Just Take A Bite LLC. She has a passion for empowering kids to navigate real nutrition in a processed world. After helping her own children overcome many health struggles, Mary now enjoys helping others do the same. She blogs about all aspects of kids' health at justtakeabite.com.
Real tools.
Real language.
Real confidence.
This isn't a pep talk. It's an education for you and for her, delivered by women who teach this material for a living.
- i. A working understanding of what a healthy cycle actually looks like, including the red flags most moms were never taught to recognize.
- ii. Clarity on how your daughter's puberty and your own perimenopause mirror each other, and the shared foundations that support you both.
- iii. A practical introduction to cycle syncing: eating, moving, and living in rhythm with the four phases of the cycle.
- iv. Practical cycle tracking tools your daughter can use from her first period forward, in language she can actually understand.
- v. A framework for feeding her growing body well: real meals, real strategies, real grocery lists.
- vi. The language to have honest conversations about food, body image, and diet culture before the world hands her its version first.
- vii. Confidence. Yours. To advocate for her health, ask the right questions, and trust your own instincts as her first teacher.
- viii. A shared memory. A conversation you experienced together that becomes the foundation for every conversation that follows.
One ticket. All four afternoons.

Before you register.
This workshop is designed for daughters who have already started their menstrual cycle. Many moms join with multiple daughters of varying ages, and that's welcome and encouraged. The tone is honest, clinical where it needs to be, and always dignifying.
Every session is recorded. You'll receive full replay access so you can watch on your own time, revisit specific sessions as your daughters grow, and catch up on anything you miss in real time.
Not at all. One ticket covers you and any daughters you'd like to include. Whether that's one, three, or five, the material is designed to be discussed together as a family.
After each hour-long teaching, the presenter stays for 30 minutes to answer live questions from the audience. Bring yours. Bring hers. Nothing is off the table.
After you register, you'll receive a confirmation email with the live stream link, calendar invites for all four afternoons, and instructions for accessing replays.
Give her four afternoons. Give her a lifetime.
There is no perfect moment to start this conversation. There is only the one you choose.
